Karesansui & Claude Code
I wanted to make a relaxing game where you can create geometric sand art, inspired by karesansui (枯山水) - which is the ancient Japanese craft of creating dry gardens, often referred to as a Zen gardens.
As a second part of the experiment I wanted to see how easily I could build a web game, utilising WebGL with Claude Code. So I spend about 30 mins architecting and planning the app with Claude, then once the plan was set, I set Claude Code off incrementally building it, one feature at a time, so I could test it as it went (rather than one-shotting it!), the whole game took about 4 hours to build in total - which works on desktop and mobile.
Pretty happy with the result - have a relaxing time playing with it at nara.mrtombox.com
